Hi guys,

Working on installing LED flashers and brake light on my bike.

I got the front turn signals successfully installed, and they both light up and stay on constantly when the left or right signal indicator is on.

So, I know I should add an electronic flasher unit. First question, is this the old flasher relay that I should replace? (It is circled in red in this image: imgur.com/jQbBrSz )

Second question, I used this relay: www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/_/N-5yc1s?itemIdentifier=6417

I have the ground wired up the left hand node, and both wires on the old relay connected to the other two nodes on the new relay. But nothing is flashing yet, and I'm not sure what is wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Tot your first question - yes, that looks like the blinker flasher.

To your second question - that does not look like the correct electronic replacement. Your original flasher has 2 prongs, that replacement has 3 prongs.

I used a Tridon/Stant 552 2 prong electronic flasher and it works great. I got it at an auto parts store. Ed

Ok, looks like I can get that part at Advanced Auto Parts or Amazon if need be. I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks!

Just got the part installed, still hasn't fixed the problem of both LED turn signals staying on constant.

I also noticed that the Stop Lamp indicator light on my tach is flashing, could this have anything to do with it?

Check the bulb in your tail light. It may have one filament burned out. Ed
