My 1982 KZ1000 with electronic instrumentation has recently been plagued with issues.
1. Tach. jumps around erratically. Voltage from coil measures approx. 10.5V with digital meter.
2. Odometer just stopped working, but speedometer continues to work fine.
The first problem is primary as I've done the diagnostic work to isolate the problem. Any ideas on why I'm not getting the typical 2-4 DCV from the coil? The bike runs very well.
The odometer issue just happened and I'm looking for advice on what's the most likely cause. Thanks
