What are these ?

My 1981 kz750 kept blowing the main fuse and i heard a clicking noise from one of these things. Dont know what they are but since i unpluged them the bike now has headlights unlike before. it also didnt have any spark. What are these and what do they do. Should i replace them both. they both plugged into orange and green wires.

the big one looks like the turn signal "capacitor?"

Round one is a flasher for hazard lights/turn signals I think , other one looks like a circuit breaker of some sort.
