I finish my current bit of contract work at the end of the month and, after a few months of 6 and 7 day weeks, I'm looking forward to "finishing off" my little project.

Which inevitably means that all of the little things that I forgot, didn't realize, or just didn't factor in are rearing their ugly little heads.

So anyone have any advice on fitting the stock brake light switch from my '83 kz440 ltd to a Brembo radial master cylinder?

Front brake switch? Look at these switches from K & S: www.kandstech.com/index.php?page=brakeswitches Some are plumbed into the brake line, using pressure to actuate the switch, others use a spring, like rear brake switches do.

Thanks, I like the idea of just plumbing in a hydraulic unit and forgetting about it, but I have a feeling that the spring-loaded units might be easier to adjust/maintain.

I was hoping to use the stock unit, if possible, though.

Haven't given this much thought, except for those random moments when I thought "Hmm... better figure out that brake light switch" so I'm a little fuzzy on the matter, but how do I install those banjo bolt hydraulic numbers?

Usually a longer bolt for the "Banjo" fitting is used, with the switch plumbed into the fitting.
