Bullet connectors. Small, easy to use, and will last for decades. Ed

Wow you got one correct. Wire nuts are for residential wiring not motorcycles.

When I do wiring modifications on my bike(new horns, running lights,& more visability to the rear), I use heatshrinkable splices, as they are waterproof, and resist vibration. There are two types;one that you crimp on the wires and then shrink down, and the other one that contains solder in a heatshrinkable splice.

Wire Termination Insulation & Sizes

BLUE
16-14 gauge wire
YELLOW
12-10 gauge wire

8 Gauge

The ring terminal holes comes in many sizes, from #4 up to 1/2" in most cases, it's a matter of finding the tightest fitting hole to fit the fastener for the termination.

American Wire Gauge(AWG) is backwards to what many people think; that is 22 gauge is many times smaller than 10 gauge even though the number is bigger.
