Need help with a question about a KZ400 recitifer

Hi Im looking to find out if a KZ 400 recitifier will work on a Suzuki TS 250, Im converting it to 12v I bought a 2 wire 12v regulator and 12v bulbs and didnt mess with the ignition coils. I was wondering if the recitifier is a single phase or what. I have the wires coming from the stator going into the 3 wires on the recitifier and the white wire hooked up to another wire on the positive side of the battery and the black wire to the negative side of the battery? Any help or direction would be appreciated. THanks
