It might help in cooling the ignition coils, but would also expose them to vibration(unless you can rubber or vibration isolate them. The slightly longer sparkplug wires would need additional insulation(maybe a spiral wrap) to prevent rubbing through on the frame parts & spark loss.

How are you going to prevent the sparkplug wires from flexing during a ride? If you tie them to the frame, I see potential problems.

I have seen this installation done in my youth (MANY years ago) on Yamaha RDs and the like... 1st thought was, it would keep the coils cool, but it blocks air to the cylinders and they might run a litle warmer. just my .02 Paul

Don't be ridiculous! It's only a flesh wound!

At the primary leads, you could use some clear RTV sealant or something - I thought that suggestion was in the Dynatek literature somewhere. Solder the ring terminals to the wires & use some heat shrink tubing, then add the sealant to the finished connection to make it water proof. The spark plug wires have the rubber boots, so hopefully those are good in the rain.

thank you for the input !! i wouldnt think ther would be anymore vibration then if you had them in the stock place. and as far as the weather and water proofing i would do that even if thay was going under the tank. as for the engine heat im goin to place them in front of the horn . i will get the on and try to post up some pics
thanks agin for all the input !!
