if it is not there, I would find one of equal psi and gallons per hour at summitracing.com maybe a regulator also.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationBiggest problem finding a pump is the limited space you have on the bike. An in-line pump such as this would be a good choice if you can deal with the straight fittings and not the 90 right at the pump. You can get preformed 90 fuel line, easy on the inlet side, low pressure.

These pumps will make in excess of 90 psi when dead headed, so a adjustable regulator would be needed. Many of these KZ1000G1 owners have found that a small increase in fuel pressure over stock made them run better. With an adjustable regulator you can fine tune the pressure.

PSI is the Dead Head total pressure it is capable of. With a regulator the excess is returned to the tank. GPH is the total flow. You won't need a pump that can feed a Big Block Car Engine. These systems on the G1 were Bosch L-Jetronic, common on many Cars through the 1980's. Even a 30 GPH pump would be plenty I would think. 60 is a common size. You will get more return flow with a larger GPH pump. The regulator will set the rail pressure then return the excess to the tank.
Make sure you get a regulator with a Vacuum fitting, for lowering the pressure at Idle. This is the way most are set up, so you shouldn't have an issue.
I'd look for the stock pump at your friends first.

Here's another source for some pretty good parts diagrams:
www.powersportspro.com/pages/OemParts

As new stock replacement parts seem relatively expensive, would bear in mind that even restoration to "perfect as new" condition, after spending a large wad of cash, is still the early fledgling "stone-age" design fuel injection apparatus that came on this 1980 KZ1000G Z1 Classic motorcycle.

Many owners have elected to replace the fuel injection with carbs, as a cheaper, easier and practical alternative.

Above being offered as food for thought.
And there may be folks out there still swearing by the 1980 design as the best thing since sliced bread. :cheer:

Good Fortune! :)
