Is just a piece that is missing. I bought it from a friends dad. He is a pot head who thought he could dissemble and clean the bike. And put it back together. Between him being on "cloud 9" and me getting the bike, I guess some stuff happen to be missing.

Just a guess and since I no longer own my G-1 I can't check to be sure but that could be for the fuel pump. If the FI system has been removed from your bike it is no longer needed.

@Motor head, thanks that diagram helped ALOT! Now I just need a replacement fuel pump. Is this something I can find at a local store? Or is this an online only item? You guys are awesome by the way, THANKS sooo much

So from what you've described, you have the REST of the Injection system? This includes a lot of pieces. Do you have a Manual, hopefully the Kawasaki Factory Manual for the Bike?
Fuel pumps from Kawasaki I don't think are available. But there are plenty of pumps that can do the job, but may take both some re-plumbing and an adjustable pressure regulator.

The stock fuel pump pressurized the FI system to 33 PSI, when the air flow meter door moved, the pressure went to 35 PSI. Make sure the fuel lines will stand the pressure, otherwise you may have a low volume flame thrower on your hands......

Here's some websites to look at:

Fuel Pumps & Regulators
www.fuel-pumps.net/gsl393.html
www.mpsracing.com/products/MPS/FuelPumps.asp
www.airtexproducts.com/
www.summitracing.com/parts/msd-2225?part=msd-2225

You'll need a fuel filter installed before the fuel pump, and get creative in the plumbing for the new pump, fuel filter & pressure regulator. Also check the one way return line screwed into the bottom of the fuel tank. If it's sticking, the engine will run rich.

I think I would go back over to the Friends house and go through the garage, or wherever the bike looked to have been stored or worked on. You may find that fuel pump, and it might still work.
