CSR Speedo

Just for looks i would like to change my speedo to ont thats goes over 85 mph. Can i do this with out changing cable and do i have to change my tach also when i do it? I have an 81 csr 1000

My 82 KZ1100-A2 speedometer is electronic, and none is available for speed readings over 85mph, that I know of.
My solution was to Velcro-mount the GPS from my boat. It works, but I'd also rather have a higher reading speedometer unit made for the application.

The diagrams at PartZilla show a speedometer cable for the 81 1000-CSR.
This may not be much help, but skyman installed a higher mph speedo on his 82 CSR.
Unfortunately, he didn't know from what bike. The good news is that at least you know there's something out there for the CSR. KZRider - Speedometer Question
