Stick coils

I was just wondering can I use stick coils on my 82 KZ1100 Spectre?

I'm going to on my 92 ZX11.

And I know completely different bikes just putting it out there. :woohoo:

I suppose you could, but you'd need the electrical harness that connects to them, and I'd imagine the triggering electronics. I think I've read about this recently, so "Google" the question. Possibly other Kawasaki forums have mentioned this.

other than looks its not really a gain or cost effective imo

All you need are the stick coils and the coil harness, should be able to get both for ~$50 on eBay.
Wire the coils in pairs in series so the ohms match the stock coils.
