Hello I am trying to track down why my left blinker does not work and only my right and my rear running light does not work. I believe my bike is a 83, this is my VIN number JKAKZDK17DA000034.
I have removed all the light bulbs and cleaned out the sockets, but dielectric grease in them as well, I switched bulbs just to make sure it was not the bulbs and no luck. They use to work, both left blinker and running lights, I have checked the three fuses on the side and they all are good. You can hear the blinker switch on the right side with the orange wires coming out of it and I would think it is the same blinker switch for both sides. I took apart my blinker switch on the handle bar and did not find anything obvious. I did however mess it up so it is only a mauel mode now and does not stay ingauged when you slide it over. O'well.
I found this on one of the fourms but not sure if it is the correct one.
