Welcome to the forum.

I would get a correct manual for the bike and study it....you need to learn this stuff. I read mine front to back dozens of times.....no easy way around electrical problems....

You can get manual off ebay I would think....or download one.

An 82 Twin should be the M1 CSR. When getting a manual, be sure it's for a 750-Twin. Kawasaki factory service manuals have a model application chart on the back cover, so make sure yours is listed.

I hear you bro, Same exact bike.
Had her running & took her apart to fix her up then wiring didnt work the same after.
Its been a difficult month of check, study & redo wiring.
Finally finished a brand new harness I had to make & still same problem.
I have faith but it aint easy, the M1 diagram is correct for your bike.
Study it as much as you can, my only problem now is ground wire from voltage regulator shorts when I hook it to ground. Best wishes bro, we'll be on the road soon!
