Could something like this be retrofitted to work on it?
Since the stock version is no longer made Id rather modify something that can be easily found at an auto parts store for $50 rather than a used part costing $250 plus that could drop dead after a month,if your broke down on the side of road its a lot easier to find a napa auto parts than waiting for a part from red line cycle to show up.
Yeah Im a keep it cheap/simple kind of guy! :woohoo:
You might want to install a regulator depending on what kind of pressure the pump puts out

Part suggestion. IIRC the replacement part number from Walbro for the 87-89 F150 external pump is the same replacement part number for a GPz1100 and 750 Turbo..
External pump with well over 45 psi peak pressure, and 5 amp draw at whatever pressure blew my finger off the outlet. I use it to empty gas tanks when needed. Looks exactly like the Walbro 392/393 that I have.
Seemed to me that experience justified my suggesting it.
