No high beam
20 Sep 2012 18:16
Is their a separate bulb for the high beam? My high beam will not turn on I'm not sure if its the switch or time for a new bulb. The regular running light still works but if I switch on the high beam the light goes dark. Thanks.

In Australia, its the one bulb for both so I would pull the bulb out and have a look inside. Failing that, perhaps the switch.

Two separate filaments inside of the bulb. I know that one can fail without the other failing.
If it's a 7" round, this is a good replacement:

any brand H6024 lamp will probably drop in no problem.

The H6024 sealed beam I listed above is a halogen sealed unit that drops in with no modification (the "H" designator means halogen type). Increases light about 3X. Same wattage as stock light. Can't beat it for $12.
