Swap out 84 kz750 gauge cluster for 81 750 cluster was created by Rchenko
I find the 84 kz750 cluster to look a bit trashy and in this case they look and act trashy, so I was wondering if anyone out there had any luck installing a more classic looking cluster from an 81 model? Will it fit?
Cheers!

one problem you'll encounter is that your bike has an electronic tachometer, whereas most earlier 750s are cable driven. The Spectres & F1 Ltd-Shaft look to be electronic. Their meter brackets look similar to yours. I would try to get a center-to-center measurement on the bracket's mounting points.

Thanks Martin. I will do that. I think I have a line on a specter parts bike.
