Ok, something I've never been clear on...

When checking a plug for spark do you leave the wires on the other plugs or take them off?

Leave them attached -- an ignition coil with dual plug wires fires throughout the secondary loop, which requires conductivity from coil plug wire terminal A > wire > cap > plug A > engine head > plug B > cap > wire > terminal B.

Good Fortune! :)

leave them all on. You're basically trying to test it under the same condition it's supposed to be running with. i.e. all plugged in. Plus in the dual wire setup we have on these bikes, all the stuff Patton said about both plugs/wires being used to complete the circuit.
