so I just got some welding done and while my battery was out I found this thing in the open space behind it. anyone know that it should be use for?

It has a couple of fuses inside the box and a spare fuse on the rubber thing around the fuse box. only one of the three wires are hooked up and it looks like the red and white wire should go to the battery. I have no electrical issues other then lack of a working horn, the neutral light and automatic turn signals not turning off. I figure these are the control box on the handle bar not working and a faulty neutral switch.

Most Kawasaki's of that age, have/had aux fuses for heated vests or gloves. It should show up on your bikes wiring diagram. Some may be electrically "hot" when the ignition switch is on, so if you want to keep the circuit, get some heatshrink tubing about 1 1/2" long, slide it almost 3/4 of the way on, heat it up, and while it's hot, pinch the end with a pair of pliers.

This will seal the end, but still make it removable if you decide to use heated gloves or vest in the future.

The white blue runs to your hazard relay and also your horn. explains why your turn signals don't go off and why your horn doesn't work. the white black wire isn't needed unless your running a siren lol.

I don't know much but I've been studying the wiring diagram for the past month rewiring my bike

so this should run hazards when the bike is off and also enable the automatic turn signals to work properly?
