I think I have a few extra plates in my parts box. Let me know if needed. Cover shipping and they are yours.

hopefully no broken screws and no re-threading. I pulled the cover off and once again found myself cursing the PO. Between the carb issues brake issues the front suspension problems im really questioning how that guy could even breath without taking five seconds to think about it.

Thanks street fighter the plate should be fine. The screws that hold it down not so much they even look brand new.

4x8mm, so 8mm long. These are JIS not a Phillips, so if the PO used a Phillips he probably damaged the cross slot. You can drill with a left hand bit, and reversible drill. Probably come right out. Then either buy new screws from Kaw, or go to a ACE or other Hardware store. They probably have a few choices, Allen head/ (socket cap screws) would be a good choice.

socket cap screws are my preferred replacement. PO put normal Philips heads in there then over tightened them and at some point he tried to take them off again. probably for the same reason i need to. i use a cheap set of jis drivers and have only stripped one screw and that was on my carbs the head was pure corrosion. Ill be bringing home my easy out kit drill and carbide steel bits. Its always nice to know my bits go through ballistic high carbon steel like butter so these screws should be like drilling air.
