Fully charged battery, all connections are tight, bike was NOT stored outside,it's been in a heated garage.Charging system is fine, battery reads over 12 volts, sitting. All other electrical works perfectly.
Now,all of a sudden(this year),it decides to not turn the engine over.(It does,but barely).
I had NO signs of it failing last season.
I know with my engine mods,it's making the starter work, that's a given...but why all of a sudden?

Is the bike pissed at me for not taking it out sooner this season?

Suspect the battery. Check the battery voltage when attempting to crank. try jumping from a NON running Car/ battery. More than Likely a Bad Battery.

Ya,good call Motor head.
Although the battery has been kept up all this time(and it's only a year old),I have had problems with this particular brand before.(Motomaster from Canadian Tire).
I've got a deep-cycle battery here,I'll try that when I get a chance,later today.
Thanks a lot for your input,Bud...that COULD be the problem.

Is that a AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) or a normal Wet Cell? if a Wet Cell, have you checked the level in it? If kept continuously on a charger it may be low on electrolyte.

Wet cell, sealed unit. You buy it as a kit,add the electrolyte, fit the sealed rubber cap into place and done.No vent-tube.
I'm about to jump it from another battery and see if that works...

I'm shocked, cause that battery just went in last season and like I said,it's been maintained the entire time.
Thanks Motor Head!

Make sure the battery tender is a good one that is temperature compensated so it will not boil it dry in hot weather.

HA HA,Rock!
No...haven't been riding(went for a good haul this weekend though)...been riding my quad a lot, havin an absolute blast with it.
Ya,I'm going to look into a good battery for the Kawi, cause that's b.s.

Bountyhunter,it's not an actual,"Tender",it's a 1 amp trickle-charger that I plug in about once a month to top it off.

Went for about a 300km ride on Saturday, the Kawi ran like a champ!
