Dyna S Ds2-2 vs. Stock ignition system?

Doe anyone have a "Dyna S Ds2-2" and how does it compare to the Stock ignition system?

I don't own one, but what I have learned from the net is:

1) the stock Kawi electronic ignition is a good one, and seems to be quite reliable.

2) Seems to be a lot of posts about blown up Dynas, I have no idea why.

3) Unless you are a pro racer, I doubt there is any difference in performance that you will be able to tell.
