1988 Kawaski Voyager lights

Out the other night and my Kawi 1200 Voyager started just fine but the headlights and gauge lights went out in approx 1 minute. The running and taillights are fine. Removed headlamp in the dark and tried to shake wire connections in fairing no luck. Was able to get home with the fog lamps.
When you turn off the bike and start it the headlight will be on for approx 1 minute then go out. Checked voltage at Battery at rest 12.6 volts. 14volts when running. If I remember is there a relay that energizes the light system after the charging system kicks in. If so where is it?
