Won't turn over

Got a new battery in bike and my bike ran for five min. Then turned off now I start it and it won't turn over. Any ideas

Year, model & how many miles? A loose battery connection either at the battery,starter solenoid, or engine mounting bolt, will affect charging and running operations. Sometimes, battery cables develope internal corrosion, greatly reducing current carrying abilities. To check,give them a flex, if they feel "crunchy", replace them.

The year is 1981 kz 650 csr. Ill check those connects.
