I need a speedo guru....

My speedometer is about to take off.

It has a new cable the has been lubed. The drive gear is fine and not noisy.
The speedo has lots of vibration and has a very high pitched whine.
Yesterday I rode about 5 minutes and clocked up 225 miles on the trip meter.

Looking on fleabay there are several kawa speedos $$$$$$$$$$
Anybody knew what speedometers on what models would be compatible
with my.......

Is asking for a world of eye sore around here.

I had that same problem on my bike went through 2 sets of cables then found out my internals for the spedo were wore out. I just went digital with a koso spedo off amazon. works good but the only thing is that the bracket they send to mount the sensor dosn't fit my kz so i juts rigged something.
