ok, so on my 82 kz650 the rear turn signals do not work. when i lift the seat i see the 2 gray lead wires from the harness to the inside stems on the turn signal. i also see a yellow/black wire that has some sort of fitting on the end of it also coming from the harness, but nothing is coming out of the fitting. i had a 77 kz650 and the wiring out of the yellow/black wire from the harness: there were 2 wires coming from it, one to each turn signal and they attached to the turn signals stem. i assume those were the ground wires.

but with the 82 kz650 now, there is no wires going to the stem at all. i was told my a motorcycle shop that they will not even turn on without the grounds being in p lace, but anyone have any ideas on whats going on or missing for sure?

and a side note, the front turn signals when turned on do not blink, they just turn on. the front right turn signal running light doesnt come on either. any ideas? i had thought the relay might be bad, but the flashers work as they should, just with no running light on the right side.

I'd get a multimeter, and start tracing back to find out where the voltage is supposed to be. Most bikes have a front running light circuit for the turn signals, but only a turn signal ciecuit for the rear ones.
