So this just started. My high beam indicator on the dash flickers and glows dimly when I get up about 5k RPM. The high beam itself doesn't seem to engage though.

This happens even when the bike is sitting still if I rev it up to 5k rpm.

Should I be worried? and if so where should I start looking to track this down?

Look inside the headlight housing for loose/rubbing wires.

HEADLIGHT
RED with BLACK stripe, High Beam.
RED with YELLOW stripe, Low Beam.
BLACK with YELLOW stripe, the ground circuit.

Also, check the switch wiring in the left handlebar "Pod" for failing solder joints.

it could be the bulb, itself, loose connection in the headlight housing, or the wires , like MFolks said, if the wireing & connctions look OK, try switching bulbs with neutral bulb & see if it still happens..Pete

Looks like this was just the bulb. This was an led style bulb I pulled it and replaced it with an old incandescent one I had laying around. No more flicker. Glad it was that easy.
