No power to anything battery has a good charge

Me and my 17 yr. old were riding bike (76 KZ900 A4) has had no problems at all. we went about an hour and stopped for a drink came back out and nothing when the key is turned on no lights in dash or anything. i poked around and looks like all connections are hookd up and batt is good. I suck at electrical. where do i start anybody

Check your fuses. Ed

Yea, look down a little ways in this forum to the "fuse gets hot and blows". This is probably your problem. The fuse burn and open at one end, so chances are at a glance it may look OK. Ignition switch is another possible. They can get corroded and melt the solder holding the wires and wires will come loose of the switch. You'll need a meter.

you can also check your ground wire from the batery to the motor, make sure the connection to the motor, is corrotion/rust free...Pete
