Harley Tachometer

Im having some trouble finding the answers to this question. - Will the in-expensive electronic tachs that you can find on E-bay for harley work for a kz1000? They list two types: single fire and dual fire. They run about $50 and look nice. Just not sure which to get or if it would even work.

I just put a car tach on my bike .. I would think a single pickup would work hooked to one coil. Mabe someone. More savy Will chime in.

There are so many different tachs. I hear the car tachs aren't water resistant or shock proof like a bike tach. I could be wrong though

im gona take it apart and seal it with rvt silicone ... I was simply trying to say in my experiance the hd tach would have pluged right up
