Directional Signals

The signals on my 1981 KZ 750 LTD are acting up. They either
Flash very slowly,
Flash too rapidly, or
Don't flash at all
The bulbs are fine so I'm thinking there must be a mechanism that controls the flashing (a "flash box"?)
Any thoughts?

Check flasher or ground connections first.

If replacing the flasher with a common automotive style flasher, would opt for the slightly more expensive "electronically operated" style flasher instead of the el-cheapo "heat operated" style flasher.

You need to replace the original flasher unit with a Tridon/Stant 552 2 prong flasher. Make sure your original is also has 2 terminals before buying. Any auto store should carry it. It will solve your flasher problem. Ed
