timing a dyna s??? was created by Tomolu5
The instructions that came with my dyna unit were crap, just trying to cover all bases and make sure shes right. are there any special requirements/tips to time these things, I just used a clamp on timing light, and set it to the stock marks at idle, did 1&4, and checked 2&3.

dyna s
green dyna coils
stock plugs gapped at .039

what do you mean by "this time use the T mark..." in the last step? reason I ask, is when I time my bike with a light, it seems to run alot, lot better when timed to the T mark(with a light). but...I do run out of room on the plate, same as you did when shooting for the F mark(same advancer). My intent is to follow the static timming directions to a tee this weekend, replace jets with new(re-re-reclean carbs), and see where we are at. I just havent had the time to sit down with her
