My Specter750 came with this setup, the wires are suppressor wire.Do the suppressor wires affect the spark and are they needed?

They are designed to reduce the RFI(Radio Frequency Interferrence)heard on radio's and T.V.'s. You can run copper sparkplug wires with no resistor caps(that's what the bikes came with from Kawasaki)for slightly better spark energy, but do not run supression sparkplug caps and supression wires together as it will greatly reduce the spark output. A forum member here recently was going round and round, wondering why his bike had such low spark, he found out, after spending $$$$, use one supression system, not both.
