Neutral switch? was created by drfantastik
Hello all. I'm having a problem with my neutral light on a '77 kz650c. It hasn't worked for the last two seasons. So today I pulled it out and tested it... and the switch works. So I checked the wiring to the indicator light... and the light and wiring work... so then I checked the connection on the switch... which was fine as well. So basically everything works... except that when the switch is installed in the transmission it must not make a connection on the inside... Is there anything to be done here or just replace the switch? I'm gonna guess just replace the switch, it just bugs me since the switch itself works and all.

How could the switch itself work without a hitch but not make a connection inside the transmission? Would a new switch even correct this?
