LED tail light question was created by joshjones84
im going to buy a cheep LED tail light off ebay to replace that brick i have on the back. can i just connect the wires and hope it all works out? what will i have to do to make it work?

my first one worked like a charm only problem i had was the brake warning light sensor flashed all the time ubhooked it worked great. had a mishap recently and tore it up so i ordered another one (different style this time)

Both of mine have worked just fine. No failure light either, just plug it up and go.

Test your LED light when connected to something other than your truck - see if if works, it should isolate the problem. Most likely the LED strip does work, in that case definitely check your circuits - whether everything is connected and if one of them is fried.
