i lifted the seat and looked at two 10w fuses (red) appeared fine, and one 20w (yellow) that is perfect. I have a small box of spare fuses, and am unsure if there are more to check or if anyone has an idea?

Help is VERY Much appreciated !

These older fuses are prone to internal failure due to current surges, vibration and just age. AGX is the size needed, and most auto parts stores can get them for you, also boating supply places seem to have them in stock. Do you have a multimeter? Electronic supply places have them, also Radio Shack Stores sell inexpensive multimeters & some home improvement stores(Lowes,Home Depot).

A multimeter can check continuity, resistance, voltage and in some cases, current draws(amps). If you purchase a multimeter and don't know how to use it,just ask, and we'll walk you through how to make it work.

If either turn signal works, it's getting power (same power line for both). More likely bad bulb.

This link is to a wiring diagram in KZr's FILEBASE.

Note the left rear turn signal has a green wire and a black/yellow wire.
Note the right rear turn signal has a gray wire and a black/yellow wire.
The black/yellow is to ground.
Would assure the connections are clean and snug.

The brown wire to the horn is battery positive.
The brown/white wire goes to ground through the horn button when the button is pushed, thereby completing the circuit through the horn and causing it to honk, actually more of an anemic toot.
Would assure the horn wire connections are clean and snug.

Good Fortune! :)

I had to de-assemble left hand switch assy and cleaned inside parts to make horn works.
