Thicker wire burn coils with less resistance?

I rewired my whole bike but I did it with thicker gauge wiring I had on hand. Will this create lower Ohms and burn the coils? Could I put some kind of resistor in the coil power line if it will?
Keep it together man!

The thicker gauge wiring is just fine, and won't cause any electrical issues.

Being bulkier, the heavier wire is more difficult to contend with in narrower spaces.

Good Fortune! :)
