I guess this could go under chasis...bodywork..all those

Going with clip ons and a minimalist kinda look. I'd like to eliminate the entire ignition and go with switches. I read somewhere that you should use aircraft switches to handle the vibration. Thoughts? I live in a no crime area and I'm thinking about a stainless type mounted box with everything thats normally on the grips or ignition activated by toggles. Have anyone done this? Any pitfalls to avoid? Thoughts on switches? Anyone have design ideas for the box and good mounting locations? I hate trial and error building and love to steal ideas!

Thanks in advance!

Wire Termination Insulation & Sizes

Terminal Insulation Color Wire Sizes
RED
22-18 gauge wire
BLUE
16-14 gauge wire
YELLOW
12-10 gauge wire

The ring terminal holes comes in many sizes, from #4 up to 1/2" in most cases, it's a matter of finding the tightest fitting hole to fit the fastener for the termination.

American Wire Gauge(AWG) is backwards to what many people think; that is 22 gauge is many times smaller than 10 gauge even though the number is bigger.

I use to build missile test cables and equipment when I worked for General Dynamics/Convair Division 1983-1993, so wiring, switches, terminals, & soldering is no big thing to me.
