Stop lamp stays on

My brake light started staying on full time today. I don't believe the rear brake spring is pulling it down, what actuates the light for the front brake? Could it be stuck? Thanks.

Check the brake adjuster screw to see if it is screwed out to far , holding the pedal down.
That would trigger the brake light switch.

You should have a small mechanical switch mounted right where your front brake lever is attached to the master cylinder. Try unplugging it to see if the light goes out. If it does, then it's the problem. My guess is it just needs to be adjusted. If it doesn't go out then do the same procedure for the rear brake switch located where your rear brake lever is attached to the frame.
