Starter not working

In the middle of trying to start the bike, the starter stopped working. I hear no clicks, moving parts, or anything at all. My battery is reading over 12volts. The solenoid and starter also both read 12v when I check with a multimeter. My bike is an electrical nightmare, and I am a newbie to this forum, please help.

Thanks for the link, but I haven't found a solution yet. Will try testing the solenoid again...

have you tried jumping the solonoid??

Thank God! The starter switch was broken and I found a way to fix it and she cranks right up. Thanks for the help

awesome good fortune lol

Now all I have to fix is a 5500 rpm idle with dirty carbs, brake light issue, seat upholstery, finish gauge wiring, and I'm all set!

shouldnt take more than 10 or 15 minutes get busy lol
