Anyone know what this is?

Had the tank off chasing an electrical short and found this just sitting under the tank. Can anybody tell me what this is?

I believe that to be your brakelight warning switch it makes the brake warning light flash if your bulb goes out.

I havent removed mine yet but they say it will stop the flashing when you switch to LED brake light but you will forfeit your warning light (which mine flashes continuously since the LED swap so it does no good anyway)

it mounts to one of the coil mtg bolts.

mine was laying loose with something melted all over ir that explains it someone put andrews coils on mine waaaay before i got it

Mine looks just like yours...a little charred, mine was laying there as well, went ahead and loosely tied it to the frame under the tank. Nice to know what it is now.

Yea I "mounted" mine under the tank as well with some electrical tape to frame and wire harness
