I know that some of you (like Testarosa) have the R6 tail light unit and it looks great. Are there any other units that will fit in the duck tale of the KZ1000? Please post a picture of what you have for a tail light. :woohoo:

I used a ZX12 for mine with a custom bracket to angle the tail up slightly as well as hold the taillight. I laso used a turnsignal integrator to clean up the tail.

That's funny Doug, as I was looking at the ZX-12 tail lights wondering if they would fit. :evil: Well now I know.

I dont have a camera but I used a sportser tail light with a custom bracket or my 650's ducktail and it looks pretty sweet if i do say so myself

I recall that the fed law on motorcycle turn signal/tail lights is they have to be at least 9" apart (center to center of the lenses). Not sure about the ones shown in the picture above, looks more like 6".

I went with a 2007 R6 tail light from e-bay. Only about $18 shipped. Should livin' up the rear end and definitely be brighter than the stock unit.
