Please show your nice replacement Brake Lights!

I know that some of you (like Testarosa) have the R6 tail light unit and it looks great. Are there any other units that will fit in the duck tale of the KZ1000? Please post a picture of what you have for a tail light. :woohoo:

I used a ZX12 for mine with a custom bracket to angle the tail up slightly as well as hold the taillight. I laso used a turnsignal integrator to clean up the tail.

That's funny Doug, as I was looking at the ZX-12 tail lights wondering if they would fit. Well now I know.

I recall that the fed law on motorcycle turn signal/tail lights is they have to be at least 9" apart (center to center of the lenses). Not sure about the ones shown in the picture above, looks more like 6".

I went with a 2007 R6 tail light from e-bay. Only about $18 shipped. Should livin' up the rear end and definitely be brighter than the stock unit.

Sure it looks OK now, but wait until I really make it pretty, with some chrome and paint and some new tires and grips and the wiring. Don't forget the gearing, and the LED's and, and, and....
