hi

many thanks for your offer! sounds good to me!..

i know where the keys codes are, but to take my bike apart to find them
is not a good idea at the moment. i've a key here, it's a little soft
and keeps bending.

q) are the aftermarket keys made out of harder metal than the cheese type?
:)

i've been told of a company in the uk, not far from me that
might've some blanks in. if not, please send me a paypal invoice
and i will pay you immediately!..

many thanks again!

Most keys are made of brass, which is soft.
If your key has a deep cut in the first cut near the head of the key, they will sometimes bend or twist much easier than a key with a shallow cut.

Try lubricating the locks, including the ignition.
If they're too dry, it could put extra strain on the key.

If you have an original key, it may have the key code # on it.

Let me know if and when you want key/s, and I can send a Paypal request.

hi rst

many thanks for your kind offer.
i managed to find an old fashioned
30 year old local locksmith. he
looked at my old kaw key and said
'not seen one of those keys, for years!'
he then took the cobwebs off the kaw
copy steel blank, cut the key, in nano
seconds and paid buttons, £2.quid.
it worked, better than my old one.

many thanks for your kind gesture.
all like minded biker buddies on this
brilliant site!

Glad you got it sorted, and now, before you lost your only key.
I've lost count on how many times someone has lost their only key, only to have to deal with all the extra hassles to have a new one made, when $5 before hand for a spare would have been so much easier.
