I have a Kz 1983 750 twin with electronic ignition that is giving me trouble. Anyone have a copy of the wiring diagram?

I have only been able to get a west german version 1983 KZ750K1 twin.
I started colorizing it, but it's going to be a while before I finish it and get it into the file base.

Direct temporary link to download.

I managed to get a pdf of the 83 750 twins from KZ750twins.com.It has the original from 76 with a supplement for the 83 which includes a wiring diagram.
Thanks to all for your help.
I hope i can return the favor.

I'd check the power input wiring first, as what's supplied does not make a reliable connection. Solder and heatshrink tubing will make a much better splice than the 3M "suitcase".

This type is ok for inside electrical work, or something shielded from moisture, but add any water to this connection, and corrosion/resistance will quickly follow, lowering voltages/current flow.

In addition to what Mfolks said, check that pink wire on the igniter. That is a safety interlock designed to kill the ignition under certain circumstances. If the clutch lever switch or sidestand switch get flakey, the ignition will act very strange.

To test it, ground the pink wire to the ground wire on the igniter, and see how it runs.
