handle bar switch wiring

I'm putting new handle bar controls from Z1 enterprise, They are for KZ900's and the wiring doesn't match the wiring harness which is from Z1parts for 77/78 kz's. I need help sorting out where to go and what to do. Every thing going in my 77 ltd 1000

do u have a manual with wiring diagrams for each modle?
i have the kz1000 manual in my signature (below). go to pg 29 for wireing.

I have both diagrams, problem lies in the headlight controls, Not sure how to or what wiring needs to be used, the switch is made to turn the lights on and the harness is made to use the ignition switch. I would like to use the handle bar control to turn headlights off and on.

can u just duplicate the kz900 power path?
take a power lead(red or blue wire in the conector block that went to the old hd lt switch. they come from fuses) to the new rt hand headlt on/off switch(kz900 ). then ,looking at the kz900 wireing diag. the power goes from there to the left hand, hi low beam switch.
the blue/white from the old right switch carries power to the left side hi low switch , and from there to the head light.

i hope i am looking at the right wireing diagrams .
i found on my 76kz900, i have the actual wireing harness from a 1 fuse 74z1 model ????

I think I'm close, have to wait for the battery to come in to see if I'm close. I'm still not sure what to do with the red wire coming from the right switch and I have 2 wires left over on the harness, 1 black with white stripe and a brown with white stripe.

can u find them on the wiring diagram from the manual in my sig? is pg 27 the same as your bike ?

can u follow them and see where they go on the diagram ?

Your manual was loading slow so I didn't check but it does show them in the 77Z1000A1, just not sure on how to hook it up.

my manual only shows a red from the rt head lt switch on the 73/74 model years.

It goes to the ignition switch and branches off to the left hi/low switch.

The brown/white seems to go to a fuse. I don’t see a black/white ?
My manual is in black and white so its hard to follow.
