Get the EMGO four Ohm OEM coil from Z1 Enterprises for $36. I'm running it on my 750 twin. Works better than original.carsonr wrote: ok me again now i have a question about coils . i need a replacment coil for my 82 kz440 and i was just wondering is there a after market coil ,or should i look for a used stock coil.My old coil works sometimes but more often then not its only on one cylinder. any help is appreciated

oops.... probably not the coil. A twin can't fire on only one side because the spark plugs are wired in series on the coil output. If either side has an open, it kills spark for both.carsonr wrote: ok me again now i have a question about coils . i need a replacment coil for my 82 kz440 and i was just wondering is there a after market coil ,or should i look for a used stock coil.My old coil works sometimes but more often then not its only on one cylinder. any help is appreciated
