So here is the deal.
I bought an `80 KZ1000 police. Before i got it in my hands it had been standing in carage for several years.
I cleaned the carbs, changed coils... Got it up an running

On test run it died

It seems that pulsing-coil thingie went down(strange reading with multimeter).

So i need new coil-pulsing(part 59026-1012) and new advancer assembly (part 21148-1009).

Does anyone know where to get these parts? Broblem is that I live in Finland and it´s pretty hard to get those parts from here. Most dealers won´t ship parts here.

The pickup coils and mechanical advance come up all the time on US eBay. Many sellers will ship to Finland. I have shipped a bunch of carburetors to Finland and shipping is actually less than shipping to England for some reason. One more option, you can pitch the OEM pickup coils and igniter and install a Dyna S. www.z1enterprises.com may be able to help you there as they ship internationally I THINK and the Dyna S has come down dramatically in price over the past couple years. It would be cheaper to buy a new Dyna S than new Kaw pickup coils, I am sure!
