636 ninja ticking at night was created by jaguar
Hello, My son has a 03 636 ninja and he states that at rest the bike clicks (after cool down). He said it's an electrical click. I told him since its a fuel injected model that it prob has something to do w/ a sensor but that was just a guess. Anyone have a take on it? Thanks in advance, Joe

Exhaust pipes cooling and shrinking back to size is my guess.

Does it click for several hours, or for a short time? Like Steel mentioned, it's normal for a bike's exhaust system to "Tick" or "Click" as it cools down. Most Kawasaki's and other brands have a double wall exhaust header of steel, and one layer cools quicker than the other.
If the noise continues for an hour, I'd ask at the shop about why.
