A co worker and myself have got a couple of 1975 KZ400sx and one is going to be a cafe bike. All of the pictures that we have seen have a open "battery basket" (I have heard people call the I'm not sure of the actual term) Anyways it is the space between the engine and rear tire. Okay back to the question, I was hoping to find out what are the bare essential wires I need to have this area not full of clutter and have it open like the ones I have seen so far. We plan on mounting the battery very low pron on the swing arm but the rest of the wires seem unnecessary seeing that all these other bikes are lacking them. We are making it Kick-start only, smaller turn signals and a small LED for the brake lights thanks guys. Here is a pic of the way we are trying to keep that battery area You guys will be a huge help
