No Power Anywhere was created by ratmeister
Hi all, I just took the 650 for a spin then parked it for a few minutes, when I tried to re-start it, I got nothing. No lights, no spark, no nothing. The electric starter still spins, but I think it is wired directly to the battery with an aftermarket button.
I know there is power in the battery, and the cables are mounted tight. I took off the headlight and all the wires there seem to be ok. What could have happened?
Any help will be much appreciated, electric is like a forien language to me...

Nope, not that. The bike has been converted to 2 10 amp and one 30 amp car fuse, and they are all in tact...Are there other fuses in other places I am not aware of?

I don't want to be persistiant but did you change the fuses? I had many times when a fuse looked good and was not. Like btchalice says they release inside and don't burn so you can't tell they're bad by looking at them. Check killswitch then if all is ok, backtrack with tester see where you have power.

get a wiring diagram and check all your grounding points aswell. could have had a ground come loose hittin some rough roads. and again, test your fuses, don't just eyeball em, too many times have i done that and gotten burned.

It was the ignition switch, replaced it with a universal one and all is well...Thanks all!
