Draws about 10 volts, not sure of the amps, will check later
wally world 2" LED marker lights, 4 about 24 bucks, 1 6" brake light about 15.00
remove old bank of flickering dim 1157's and bang! Running lights (previously none) and seriously bright bank of brake lights. Replaced two brake light bulbs with 3496 bulbs, much brighter, only a hair more power required.

As it was- the only rear lights were the running lamps of the factory brake light housing- with the old 1157's (original stanleys) pitifully dull, coupled with the flat black back end....oy vay

Running lights, idling

idling with brake lights on

cheap mod, wally world to the rescue, quite a bit cheaper than other options.

nice mod!

I am looking for your reference of 3694s... with no luck. I did a search for 1157 replacement and found many of the LED options. Is that what the 3694s are? LEDs?

Nope, not yet.
I'm eyeballing the headlight kits now to see whats cheap, what works.
turn signals are very bright with the 3496's.

The headlight still dims when you hit the brake, but not as much, more light, less watt draw, win win
